Harvest Students Camp

Harvest Students Camp-02.jpg

We’re partnering with other Great Commission Collective churches in our area to put on an amazing camp for our 7th-12th grade students this June in Lake Ann, Michigan.

Registration starts on Monday, March 11 at 9 a.m. and closes on Thursday, May 23.

Harvest Summer Camp is open to incoming 7th graders through graduating seniors.

All activity tracks will be first come first serve.

Click on the “learn more” below to learn how Lake Ann can meet your student's dietary needs.

Scholarships are available for Summer Camp.  If your student is in need of a full or partial scholarship, please email Harvest Students.

Transportation:

Transportation to Lake Ann will be via chartered bus or passenger van.
Once we have received all registration, we will contact you with transportation costs.
Transportation costs will range from $100 to $150, in addition to the 'base cost' of camp.
These fees will be due Friday, May 31st.

Help our Harvest Students get to camp!

Help our students raise money for summer camp and shorten your to-do list, all in one!

Do you need a babysitter? Rent-a-Kid!
Do you need your garage cleaned? Rent-a-Kid!
Do you need your dog walked? Rent-a-Kid!
Do you need your car washed? Rent-a-Kid!

Every year, we have a number of students that need financial assistance in order for them to attend summer camp. In an effort to help them raise money themselves, we are giving them the opportunity to earn funds for camp, and you the opportunity to shorten your to-do list!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

To Rent-A-Kid, click here to fill out your request. Once your request has been submitted, one of our rentable students will get in touch with you to work out the details (there are no pre-set rates)!

Maybe you don't need help with your to-do list, but you would like to donate money to our summer camp scholarship fund. Click here to give online (tax deductible, of course!).

To attend Summer Camp, all students will need a 2019-2020 Waiver on file and Permission to Administer Medications form, if desired.  Please download these forms below and email your completed waivers and forms to Harvest Students.

Harvest Kids Camp

SAVETHEDATE-04.jpg

Harvest Kids Camp is a high-impact, high-energy day camp for K-6th graders! Each day is packed full of worship, activities, group games, and all the fun you can fit into one week! Campers get their choice of two activity tracks for the week where they will learn skills and get to know new friends with similar interests!

This camp takes place at our Carmel Campus: 14550 River Rd, Carmel, IN 46033.

Activity Tracks:

Man Track
Are you not phased by bugs, snakes, and the great outdoors? Are you as tough as nails? Do you march to the beat of your own drum? Did you make the drum yourself? Then you have exactly what it takes to be in the man track.

Disclaimer: This is not a track for the faint of heart.

Nerf Wars
Are you a undercover warrior who wouldn’t mind shooting a couple of friends with some high-speed foam bullets? Are you ok with going into the Quadragon to protect your team’s flag above all cost? Then we would be glad to welcome you to our ranks, soldier.

Disclaimer: This is war, y’all.

Girl Track
All sorts of fun await the girls who join the Girl’s Track! The week will be full of glitter, painting, dancing and excitement as we make new friends, bedazzle everything in sight and study God’s Word.

Disclaimer: Against our better judgement, there will be glitter.

S.T.E.M*
Science, Technology, Electronics, and Mathematics. Need we say more? Yes? Ok. There is a strong emphasis in robotics in this new addition to Harvest Kids Camp! Come tap into your inner nerd with us!

Disclaimer: None. This track is legit.

Crossfit
Burpees are gnarly and they aren’t for everyone. But if you want to get ripped, then you gotta do them. Join us at the box for an high impact workout, as Coach Cody and Coach Katy bring Crossfit to a whole new level.

Disclaimer: This is a workout track.

Ballet*
Tutus and tiaras. Learn the beginning skills of what it takes to be an elegant ballerina by signing up for this newly added track.

Disclaimer: This is a performance track that will perform during our Variety Show on Friday. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come watch!

Cheer*
Lets go, Kids Camp! Let’s go! *CLAP CLAP* Learn the beginning skills of cheerleading from expert coaches, including a former Butler cheerleader!

Disclaimer: This is a performance track that will perform during our Variety Show on Friday. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come watch!

Superheroes*
Do you truly believe that you have super hero abilities and that all the villains out there have nightmares about you? Then this is your track. Kids will work on creating their superhero suit as well as sharpening their superpower abilities.

Disclaimer: To infinity and beyond! This track is open to kiddos in Kindergarten - 2nd Grade.

Oregon Trail*
This is our take on the classic computer game from the 90s! Learn some primitive life skills like making candles, pulling taffy, how to use an actual washboard, and much more!

Disclaimer: Don’t worry, no rivers will be forged in this track.

Carpentry
Have you always wanted to use power tools but never had the chance? Do you have a creative mind and enjoy working with your hands? This track is for you - just as long as you’re prepared for the possibility of a rogue splinter!

Disclaimer: This track is highly supervised by adults. Safety around power tools is our #1 priority!

Worship
Do you have musical talents that you would like to use to bring God praise? Do you want to develop new musical skills? How would you feel about leading worship from the stage? If you answered yes to all three of these questions, then this is the track for you!

Disclaimer: This is a performance track that will perform during our Variety Show on Friday. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come watch!

Drama*
Are you a performer? Did God give you a flair for the dramatic side of life? Yes? Then come be dramatic with us!

Disclaimer: This is a performance track that will perform during our Variety Show on Friday. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come watch!

Iron Chef*
Can you remain cool and collected under the pressure of a timed cupcake war? Can you withstand the perils of Taco Tuesday while handling some of the spiciest ingredients native to plains of the Midwest? Can you dice a potent onion without bursting into tears? Then Iron Chef is the track for you!

Disclaimer: Ingredients such as egg, dairy, gluten, soy, and refined sugar will be attending this track with us. If you have severe dietary restrictions, we recommend choosing a different track.

Weird Science*
BOOM!!!! Are you pumped up by medium-scale explosions, soda geysers, and more experiments of various oddities? Do you pride yourself in being a little weird? Then come be weird with us in Weird Science!

Disclaimer: a chemistry team from Eli Lilly will be conducting all sorts of loud explosions on the final day of camp. Our friends with sensory limitations might want to consider a different track.

LEGOS*:

This ain’t your little brother’s lego set. This track will take the brains of future architects and challenge them to build lego structures larger than themselves.  We also caught wind of there being a zip line to send lego creations down to battle creations of others. Will you destroy or be destroyed?

Disclaimer: This isn’t a free-for-all. You will have to follow the blueprints of the Head Architect as you work together to create a grand structure.

*Indicates Kindergarten-friendly track

KIDS CROSSFIT
Get ready to undergo some intense exercise with Coaches Cody and Katy Galbraith as they put campers through the gauntlet to see if they have what it takes to be a Crossfit-er!

THE GIRL TRACK
Beauty is WAY more than cute clothes and pretty hair, but that doesn't mean we can't do manicures while learning what it means to follow Jesus as a female! God designed us to be strong women with inner beauty that gives him glory! No boys allowed - this one's for girls ONLY!

THE MAN TRACK
Do you have a problem being indoors and following the rules? Have you ever wondered what a worm tasted like or how things explode? Then this boys only track might be the perfect track for you. Girls...KEEP OUT!

CHEER/DANCE*
Are you a little louder than the rest? Have you ever wanted to learn awesome dance moves and get the chance to perform them? Our cheer/dance combo is perfect for beginning dancers and is a great opportunity for you to learn some groovy moves and make new friends!

LEGOS*
Calling all future architects and engineers! Do you love Legos as much as we do? Then sign up for this indoor track as you work each day as a team to build one giant structure.

COOKING*
Are you America’s Next Top Chef? Or do you just get hungry quickly and want to eat a lot more than the rest of the campers? Then this indoor track is the perfect fit for you.

ZOOLOGY*
Are you a nerd when it comes to animal kingdom? Would you like some close up experience with unique animals and have minimal exotic animal allergies? Then this outdoor track could be a great way to connect with your inner-lion.

WEIRD SCIENCE*
Have you ever wandered why things rust, why the sky is blue, or why your feet stink? Then you have just the brain we are looking for! We need a team of campers who can help us create the coolest science experiment ever!

*Indicates Kindergarten-friendly track
