There’s no doubt that God has a plan for Harvest North Indy. After He planted the vision in the hearts of Pastor Brian White, his wife Laura, and several families on the north side of Indy in the fall of 2006, the group began praying and working toward planting Harvest Bible Chapel North Indy. We launched our first worship service on September 9, 2007 at Carmel High School with the mission to glorify God by making disciples of all nations. With each passing month, the need for a church that combined bold, verse-by-verse preaching with passionate worship was clear as hundreds of people joined the Harvest family. God has continued to bless us and today it is a thriving and growing community of believers committed to intentional discipleship, local and global outreach, and purposeful church planting. After years of meeting in various schools in Hamilton County, Harvest North Indy moved to its current home on River Road in the northeast part of Carmel, Indiana.

The first Harvest Bible Chapel was formed in Chicago in 1988 under the leadership of Pastor James MacDonald. What began as a fellowship of 18 people has grown to be a vibrant community of thousands of believers across 7 Chicagoland campuses. Convinced that God was calling Harvest to plant like-minded churches, Harvest planted its first daughter church in Glen Ellyn, Illinois in 2000. As God allowed, more opportunities to plant independent Harvest Bible Chapels were realized and a church planting movement began.

In 2003, Harvest Bible Fellowship was formed to help facilitate the planting of Harvest Bible Chapels. HBF trains pastors and worship leaders and provides coaching, resources, and leadership to the planting of these churches. Today there are over 110 independent Harvest Bible Chapels in countries all across the globe.
