Position Title: Adult Discipleship Groups & Connections Administrator

Position Reports to: Campus Pastor

Status: Full Time

Position Objective: Responsible for the administration of ministry and cohesiveness in adult discipleship with a primary focus on groups, connections, and discipleship.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Preferred 2+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant with experience managing budgets, reporting, activities, and analysis with strong spreadsheet skills

  • High proficiency in learning and understanding systems

  • Background in project coordinating and planning

  • Background in event planning and execution

  • Facilitate calendar, email, phone calls, meetings

  • Ability to multitask and meet various deadlines

  • Creativity with attention to design and presentation

  • Provide support in general day-to-day administrative tasks

Essential Functions

  1. Planning Center best function for ministry and management for adult discipleship (Groups, Registrations, Check In, Calendar, Services, People)

  2. Event planning, programming and execution

  3. Resource management, stewardship and ordering

  4. Effective written communication for editing both content and grammar

  5. Project coordination between ministry lines

  6. Weekly written curriculum and edits

  7. Collection and management of accurate data from systems through the development of processes

  8. High capacity, knowledge, and learning of systems for best use in our context

  9. Ability to build and develop while considering budget

  10. Yearly calendar development, submissions for reserving rooms and resources

  11. Documentation of processes for replication

  12. Assist with development of the branding and design for ministry opportunities within adult discipleship

  13. Assist with volunteer and team development

  14. Assist with connecting church members to groups and other ministry opportunities

  15. Administrative tasks for Gary and Johnna

  • Content and grammar editing with design and formatting
